Recent
concerns in the news about food safety prompt us to
explicitly state our commitment to the highest safety
standards possible. This in fact has been a long standing
policy with us, dating even before the mid-1950's when
E.A. Miller was a pioneer in the establishment of a
uniform code of meat inspection for Utah. In 1956 the
company applied for and was granted federal meat inspection
(FDA) on each animal processed and a strict sanitation
inspection of plant facilities, equipment, and transportation.
This gave E.A. Miller the right to sell its beef anywhere,
thereby moving the company into the worldwide marketplace.
Today,
All products available from Millers Blue Ribbon
Beef, have gone through our multiple hurdle intervention
food safety program. This 5 step pathogen reduction
program is clinically certified to reduce the incidence
of potentially harmful bacteria by a staggering 99.99%.
You are guaranteed with your purchase of Miller's Blue
Ribbon Beef that you are getting beef processed in the
most highly sanitized commercial environment available.
For your added protection, all products are vacuum packaged
and boxed in specially designed and labeled materials
featuring the Miller's Blue Ribbon logo.
Miller's Blue Ribbon has recently entered into a third
party arrangement with Sterling Solutions, LLC to administer
a USDA approved system of source and age verification,
tracking cattle from birth through the production process.
This is a valuable tool to guarantee the source and
age verification requirements of the beef purchased
by our family of customers. Miller's Blue Ribbon is
listed by Sterling as a preferred packer. For a complete
informational package on this USDA approved program
