At this time the following positions and shifts are available. The shifts listed are approximate times. BOX COOLER: Loading trucks and stacking boxes on shelves. Repeated lifting of up to 120 pounds. Day Shift: 6 a.m. to finish (8 to 11 hours) Night shift: 5:30 p.m. to finish (up to 12 hours) CAFETERIA: Full-time and part-time shifts. Cooking, cleaning, cash register, assisting customers. FABRICATION: Boning, cutting and trimming meat. 6 a.m. to finish. HIDE CLEAN UP: Clean the area where hides are processed. 3 p.m. to finish (about 9 hours). HIDE HANGER TRIMMER: Lift and drag hides and hang on a hook. Trim hides to specifications. 7:30 a.m. to finish (about 9 hours). HIDE STACKER: Lift hides and stack on pallets. 6 a.m. to finish. MAINTENANCE: Maintaining and installing plant equipment. Rotating 12 hour shifts. NIGHT CLEAN UP: Cleaning entire plant - building and machinery. Use high-pressure hot water hoses, chemicals, etc. ( p.m. to 6 a.m.) SLAUGHTER: Working with the organs of the cattle. Most of the areas are warm to hot and have a variety of odors. 6 a.m. to finish (8 to 10 hours). WASH BAY: Washing Miller Brothers Trucking tractors and trailers. Various shifts available.
